We visited the Florida Southern College campus, which has five Frank Lloyd Wright structures. Impracticalities abound, but they are magnificent structures.
They are in reasonable condition, having been preserved to the best of the college's ability while being adapted for actual use.
AC and modern lighting have been shoehorned in as subtly as possible.
I was entranced by Wright's take on stained glass in the chapel. The small pieces were about 1/2 inch square. This shot doesn't do justice to the colors.
A system of covered walkways integrated into the design of the buildings connects all of them.
FSC became the second Frank Lloyd Wright site where Ben has hit his head.
Jackie and Ben live on a ranch with cows.
And steers.
Cows like Spanish Moss.
Nada likes to lick.
Red wasn't as cooperative.
